It has occurred to me that we could solve so many...
1) Just because you “like” something doesn’t make it good.
2) It’s okay to like things that aren’t good.
Or maybe I’m just bitter. But that would make my life so much easier right now.
Also: 3) If reason X is why something is bad, liking that something for reason Y does not invalidate reason X.

I have successfully concluded that the character I am writing is not that friend of Rory’s.
